What is Stark Future?

Stark Future is a company founded with the mission to lead the motorcycle industry to sustainability and drastically reduce CO2 and plastic pollution. We will inspire change through the production of electric motorcycles which outperform traditional combustion engine technology, from a class leading powertrain to a high-performance long-lasting battery, lightweight chassis and honest, performance-focused design.

We are based just outside the progressive, forward-thinking city of Barcelona – the motorcycle capital and electric automotive hub of Europe. We have built a team of the best people in the motorcycle and power electronics industry in order to challenge the norm and break new technological barriers.

How can I get a Stark VARG bike?

It’s a simple process.

  1. Firstly visit the Stark VARG product page and add the bike to your shopping cart.
  2. Select any additional accessories and components if you want them.
  3. Click through to the checkout.
  4. Select your desired payment method and then confirm your purchase.
  5. If you choose bank transfer we will contact you when the bike is ready to be sent to you. At this point you’ll receive an invoice from us by email stating the remaining balance to be settled (total price minus deposit).
  6. Pay the invoice.
  7. Once the payment is confirmed your bike will be shipped to you.

Can I place an order over the phone?

Unfortunately not. In order to avoid any type of misunderstanding we kindly ask you to place your order directly on our website or through one of our dealers. If you have any questions about this please feel free to send us an email or contact us on social media.

Do you have financing \ payment solutions?

Yes. The different payment options are shown in the checkout process.

Accepted payment methods are Visa, MasterCard, Amex, PayPal, and Maestro.

As for further financing options, you can also choose monthly installments through our payment partner Splitit™.

We are always working to optimize payment solutions for our clients and therefore we can offer different possibilities depending on your country.

Your small initial deposit secures an order. Later a final payment is invoiced just prior to delivery of your bike. Once the payment is received by Stark Future the order will be shipped to the address provided.

Is it possible to pay the full amount outright for the bike up front?

Yes. If you prefer you can pay the full amount with your bank card or you can contact us and we will give you further instructions for other payment options.

What happens if I can no longer pay for my bike, but have put down the deposit?

Each motorcycle is custom built according to your desired specification, including details such as suspension configuration. You will automatically receive an invoice via email when the bike is ready for shipment and if you do not pay within 30 days your order will be cancelled.

The deposit will cover the cancellation procedure and is non-refundable. No further fees will be applied.

How do I know if you deliver to my country?
  1. We ship to almost every country globally.

  2. Our bikes are shipped from our American warehouse to customers in Canada and the US.

  3. Our bikes are shipped from our warehouse in Barcelona, Spain to customers in Europe.

  4. Our bikes are shipped from our Australian warehouse to customers in Asia / Australia.

Is it possible to order spare parts?

Can I test ride before I buy?

How will the bike be delivered to me?

Our bikes are delivered globally in a wooden chest on a pallet, optimized to reduce use of plastic. You will find everything you need to set up your bike, including all the relevant tools, inside the chest. If you choose to pick the bike up from one of our dealers they will assemble the bike for you beforehand.

How long does delivery take?

USA & Canada
In line with Incoterms 2010 rules we ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) for orders in the USA & Canada. This means that you will not pay any customs duties. Sales tax is not included in the price shown on the website, and will be added according to state regulations before final payment. Once your bike is ready to be shipped, it will take between 10-14 days within the US and Canada. Orders are shipped from the local warehouse in Florida. For parts and accessories the delivery time is normally within 2-5 business days.

European Union
In line with Incoterms 2010 rules we ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) for orders in the EU. This means that you will not pay any additional expenses or tax on the amount stated at checkout when confirming the order. It will take 5-7 days for shipment of your electric motorbike within EU countries. Orders within the European Union are shipped using ground shipping. For parts and accessories the delivery time is normally within 2-5 business days.

Switzerland, Norway, United Kingdom and Iceland
In line with Incoterms 2010 rules we ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) for orders in Switzerland, Norway, United Kingdom and Iceland. This means that you will not pay any additional expenses or tax on the amount stated at checkout when confirming the order. Delivery takes approximately 5-7 working days once your bike is ready to be shipped and 3-5 days for parts and accessories.

Australia
In line with Incoterms 2010 rules we ship Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) for orders in Australia. This means that you will not pay any additional expenses or tax on the amount stated at checkout when confirming the order. It will take 10-14 days for shipment of your electric motorbike, once your bike is ready to be shipped. The orders are shipped from the local warehouse in Sydney. For parts and accessories the delivery time is normally within 2-5 business days.

Rest of the World
Orders to other countries than those mentioned above will be shipped DAP, Delivered At Place, according to Incoterms 2010. For these orders, it normally takes 15-20 working days for delivery once your bike is ready to be shipped. We do not collect VAT, duties, and/or taxes on orders and we cannot predict what your particular charges may be. Please contact your local customs office for more information.

What are the warranty terms for the Stark VARG?

Does the price of the bike include the charger?

Yes, the charger for your bike is included in the price. The charger and all the tools required to set up your bike are included and will arrive with your bike so that you can start riding the day it arrives.

I am waiting on a delivery, is there anything I should do?

Once you’ve been notified that your bike is shipping to you it will arrive in a few days. Although damage in the transport process is not common, it does occasionally happen. Be sure to verify that the crate is in good condition on delivery, before signing the delivery documents.

If you see that the crate appears to be damaged you should unbox the bike before signing the documents, whilst the delivery driver is still present. If items are damaged take photos of the damage and get in contact with our customer support team.

If you consider the damage to be significant you should refuse the delivery and contact our support.

If the damage appears to be minor you can accept the delivery and inform our customer support team. We can then send you the replacements for any damaged parts.

Is the Stark VARG street legal?

The Stark VARG is an off-road motorcycle and is not road legal. Please check your local regulations on registering off-road vehicles.

Should I register my Stark VARG as an off-road vehicle?

Please check your local regulations on registering off-road vehicles. For example in most states in the U.S. it is obligatory for Off-Highway Vehicles to be registered.

Do I have to get a specific license to ride the Stark VARG?

There is no license requirement to ride the Stark VARG in most countries as it is an Off-road only vehicle.

How should I service my motorcycle?

The Stark VARG is extremely easy to maintain thanks to the fact that it’s an electric motorcycle. We have purposely designed the motorcycle using only the highest quality materials and optimized our engineering in order to reduce the risk of damage. An electric vehicle is closer to a bicycle than a combustion engine motocross bike in terms of servicing. The powertrain should not require any regular maintenance, only the drivetrain, suspension and chassis will require normal service.

What’s the policy on repairs?

I would like to change the wheels. What wheels fit my bike?

The Stark VARG can be ridden with the following dimensions:

Front
21 inch front Motocross wheel with various dimensions.
17 inch supermoto wheel with 3.5 inch rim.

Rear:
18 or 19 inch rear motocross wheel with various dimensions.
17 inch supermoto wheel with 5 inch rim.

If I’m riding during winter can I change to studded winter tires?

Yes normally this should not be a problem. Please ensure that the studs are not touching the bottom of the fenders upon heavy landings, which will depend on your suspension settings, tires and stud choice.

Can I ride my Stark VARG everywhere?

The Stark VARG is a pure motocross bike and can also be used for back country exploring, quietly moving through nature at high speed without causing disturbance or pollution.

However, national regulations vary for off-road vehicles and so please follow your local regulations on which routes and trails permit access.

Is the Stark VARG waterproof?

The Stark VARG is designed according to IP69K standards, meaning it’s fully waterproof. That means you no longer need to worry about river crossings. Just be aware that there is always a limit to how much water pressure certain seals can withstand. You can submerge your motorcycle, but not indefinitely. It’s not a submarine.

For cleaning, we recommend using a power washer. It’s good to use a chain cleaner and brush for scrubbing when cleaning the chain, followed by applying chain lube once the chain is dry. Here is a video on how to safely wash your Stark VARG: COMING SOON.

Should I remove the Stark VARG Phone from the display position before washing the bike?

It’s not necessary as the Stark VARG phone display is also designed according to IP69K waterproof standards, but even so we do not recommend spraying the display unit directly with a power washer.

How do the lock and unlock functions work?

The Lock and Unlock functions only work when your Stark VARG phone is connected to the bike via Bluetooth. This will happen automatically when the Stark VARG phone is in the docking station.

How do I charge my Stark VARG?

Just remove the charger cap and plug in the charger, everything else will happen automatically. A regular 120V/220V outlet like the standard household sockets can be used to charge your bike.

How do the different ride modes work?

You can fully customize the power, engine braking, traction control and virtual flywheel within each power mode.

You can also share your rides and power settings with your friends through the Stark App for Android and iOS.

Can I lock the bike in order to leave it outside?

We recommend that you use an external motorcycle lock if you have to leave your bike unattended outside. You can also use your Stark Phone to lock your bike. We would recommend that you first lock your bike, and then unclick your Stark Phone from the display position and carry it with you.

How do the heat and cold affect the bike?

Rather than leaving your bike outside for a prolonged period we recommend that you store it inside, to mitigate the potential risk of aging or damage caused by extreme heat, cold or other weather conditions. We do not recommend permanently storing the bike at a temperature below 10°C (50ºF). If the temperature outdoors is below -2°C (28.4°F) or above +35°C (95°F) we recommend to keep the bike inside.
